Explore. Act. Reflect. Demonstrate.

Service-learning opens up the classroom walls. Together, students, teachers, and community partners create real-life learning while improving our community. Students bring their classroom learning into the community and their community learning back into the classroom. Here is how it works:

Explore: Establish the learning goals and plan how to achieve them through community engagement.

Act: Students engage in community volunteer opportunities or projects that match the learning goals.

Reflect: Students connect classroom and community learning through journals, discussions, artistic representations, papers, presentations, and exploring next steps.

Demonstrate: Students show and celebrate what they have contributed and learned.
