WHAT IS PROJECT CONNECT:

Project Connect is a day long event once a year that serves to help those who are struggling in Central Oregon by providing a variety of free resources and social services. This past year's event was a great success! 2,257 guests were served by 662 volunteers.

MISSION AND HISTORY:

The mission of Project Connect is to rally our region to support and create lasting solutions for those experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness here in Central Oregon. Project Connect is a component of a Regional 10 year Strategy to End Homelessness.

Project Connect (PC), is based on a national best practice model, Project Homeless Connect, originated in San Francisco in October 2004. Today, PC is emulated in 170 cities across the United States as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and Australia. Once a year over 700 community volunteers partner with city government, non-profits and the private sector to provide a one-stop shop of health and human services for struggling Central Oregonians.
