Volunteer Connect is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization which originally started as Volunteer Insights in 2004. Volunteer Connect is made possible by a collaboration with the Partnership to End Poverty and United Way of Deschutes County, and between local school, college, nonprofit and community partners who are all a part of our Central Oregon volunteer network. In 2010, we launched our new website where both volunteers and agencies can match their interests and needs. 

Volunteer Connect has four main areas of focus: (1) We connect volunteers with ongoing volunteer opportunities to serve community needs, (2) we provide a calendar of one-time opportunities for volunteers with little time, (3) we match corporate employees with service projects, and (4) we continue to help educate service-learning students for lifelong community engagement and leadership.
